RULES OF USE & SURGICAL PROCEDURE:
The Medical Production® dental implant system is intended to be used in cases of mandible or maxillary edentulism to stabilize removable prostheses, to make sealed or screwed bridges in distal or recessed situations and to replace individual teeth .
The installation of the dental implants Médical Production® typically involves two surgical phases. However, when the indication is placed, the healing screw can be screwed directly into the first surgical step avoiding a second surgery to the patient. A theoretical and practical training must therefore be followed by the practitioner wishing to practice this technique.
The i-Cone implants are manufactured from grade 5 TA6V-Eli titanium alloy according to ISO5832-3, TA6V-Eli titanium alloy prosthetic components according to ISO5832-3 except for gold cylinders manufactured on SUPRADIUM 60% AU + 19% Pt + 19% Pb + <2% Ag and calcinables which are made of PMMA PLYMETHACRYLATE of METHYL or DELMIN of POM, Polyformaldehyde (polyacetal)
Medical Production® implants should not be installed when the implant site does not have sufficient bone width and height. Low quality bone, poor oral hygiene, high smoking, and conventional contraindications to oral surgery (eg diabetes) can cause osteo-integration problems and consequently failure of the implant . Severe bruxism and occlusal surgery can lead to prosthetic failures and / or loss of implants.
Patients with unstable psychological status are not good candidates for implants. Exposure to magnetic radiation, radiation, and chemotherapy may affect osseointegration of the implant. The surgical instruments must be cleaned and sterilized according to the prevailing method before each use.
The surgical techniques used to apply dental implants call for rigorous and precise procedures. A lack of knowledge of the techniques may result in failure of the implant. Irrigation equipment must be checked to ensure proper cooling of the surgical site. The Medical Production® dental implant system must be used with drills calibrated in diameter and length.
Side effects :
The practitioner will inform his patient of contraindications, the follow-up of the procedure and the precautions to be taken, as well as the absolute necessity of addressing a practitioner familiar with the implant techniques in case of specific problems.
Hygiene and maintenance
The long-term success of an implant depends directly on the quality of oral hygiene. Patients who are candidates for implants must first undergo adequate oral hygiene before being implanted.
After implant placement, the patient must undergo a periodic visit to his / her dentist for scaling and control.
